Wanda Warren Berry
Director, New Yorkers for Verified Voting

Wanda Warren Berry (B.A. Boston U.; M.Div. Yale U., Ph.D. Syracuse U.), Professor emerita of Philosophy and Religion at Colgate University. Wanda taught at Colgate for many years, starting in 1962 and retiring in 2004. In addition, she served Colgate for five years as Director of Equal Opportunity and Affirmative Action and one year as Director of Women's Studies. Much of her teaching over the years addressed classical and contemporary ethics as well as social, gender, and environmental justice.

Wanda was awakened to issues about electronic voting by former students and colleagues in different states who wrote of their experiences with DREs in November 2004. She has worked with NYVV since early in 2005. Originally from Arizona and Southern California, she has lived in Hamilton, NY for fifty years and is active in NYVV's efforts in Madison County and Central New York.
