The State Board of Elections must certify voting machines before they
can be selected by the counties. But if they don't certify any optical
scanners or ballot marking devices, there is no alternative to DREs.

York State BOE map.
On the right half of the screen are boxes where you can specify who
you're looking for.
- Select "State Senate Districts"
- Enter either your district number or your address in the provided
fields.
- After filling in your choices click the "Submit Search" button.
- You can then find their contact information here:

Find Your State Assembly representative
- Go tothe New
York State BOE map.
